Stylish Fall Maternity Outfits
For those of you with child, for once you will not be denied access to the latest trends in fashion. Luckily for you, this year’s fashions are big, long, and comfortable.
1) Maxi Dresses: Maternity dresses this season are not all about hiding your belly, but more about showing off the new body that you’ve got. Maxi dresses are a big hit this year for all, including moms. A hip way to add a little extra oomph to your outfit is with a big belt over your belly.
2) Sweaters: Sweaters are always a big hit in the fall, but more so than ever this year as the newest maternity tops trend. We’re wearing fancy sweaters, sweater blouses, and sweater hoodies. For expectant moms, the long sweater hoodie is a great find! It is fashionable, comfortable, and can be worn with leggings or jeans. You could even pair it with your comfortable sweats when you’re curled up at home.
3) Tunics: A style that isn’t going away, tunics are a huge hit this year. A great thing about this style is that it has been able to change a lot over the past few years, and now the button-down tunic is a huge trend. Comfortable and loose, this top goes best with slender jeans or leggings. One of my favorite styles this fall is the box-pleat tunic or any geometric designs. But remember, moms, be wary of stripes!
4) Boyfriend Jeans: This is the best trend to hit the market for pregnant ladies. While Katie and Angelina were rocking their hubby’s stylish leftovers, the rest of us realized that it’s cute and functional. Now you can wear comfortable and fashionable jeans without searching for the elastic waistband.
5) Boots: Boots, boots, boots! We love boots! This is a trend that seems like it might fade, but always comes back stronger than ever. We’re over the patent leather books, especially for maternity, but there are tons of styles out there that are great this fall and winter. Trendy heeled boots are back stronger than ever. The functionality and style of boots are so far unmatched by other fall shoes, as they are made in flats, heels, and even stilettos.
Whatever you do this season, do it in style.
